repeating your words in my head.
Trying not to cry,
screaming in frustration.

Holding on,
reaching blindly around me.
I seek comfort,
longing for a place in this world.

So while this world slowly disintergrates,
I say a silent prayer to the one aboe
and hope that he's listening.

You claim he's real,
that's he looking down from above,
that i should believe.
But I've never felt so alone.
I've never felt so insecure.
So I'll reject him once again,
ignoring his transparent pleas for me to trust in him. Cool write, found the ending was alright, not abrupt, gave the poem, a hopeless sorta feel, with the end being the punchline, cool poem.

This is sad but written so well.
I can also relate to this write too.
I was facing death in the 80's and I was desparate to find the real God not the one religion talked a bout.
When I asked God where he was he spoke to me so tenderlly and reminded me of the times I was being foolish but he said, I've been here all the time, then he told me of the many times he luved me so much that he spared my life.
Since then I've stared death in the face many times and seen two peolpe come to life in front of my eyes by jus calling his name. Jesus.
The answer didn't come all at once and I still find answers every day.
hang in there as he will help u.
luv, huggs, smiles, faith, hope, joy, peace,
emy

Everyones relationship with him is their own,let no one dictate to you who or what he is, just open your heart to him as you would to your best friend and in time you'll find he has been there all along.........

Very well written, and the ending added to the intensity!

You know, as much as I believe, I won't deny I've felt this way. When I look back on those times now, I see Him clearly, but I couldn't then. This is an interesting write. Keep searching...for only in seeking can we find truth.
