“Don’t worry, she’ll wait, she did last year”

I am a strong person, usually say how I feel
But I still get forgotten, the rough end of the deal
Must learn to speak louder, and mean what I say
Only I can change me at the end of the day

I’ll start putting my foot down, and not letting go
‘Til I’m happy with the outcome, I’ll learn to say No
Sort out some problems that need to be solved
Then get on with my life, a little more bold

Why is it I always have to wait?
