When the morning sun first grazes my face,
I awake with thoughts of you in haste.
And at night before I close my eyes,
I inhale deeply that I may savor my life.
Because when youre good ,youre oh so good,
and you make me feel like no other could.
But when it hurts,
It hurts that much worse,
because only you know how to scratch the burn.

At some point I hope,
that you will learn to endure
all the love I have for you, unconditional and pure.

You complain about the woes of love from the past,
So tell me why is it you wont help a new love last.
I give you all of me,
My time, my heart, my soul, my body.

Nice Poem- I like it...
Written with a lot of devotion-
"Sometimes we are not able to see the forest for all of the trees in the way"...

I agree with you
I've been one of those people who are stuck on something in the past for far too long, and it took me a while to realize that I could only be happy with what I already have
