What does it matter it did nothing for me
I am a slave to a victimized world
Even on the warmest days it still feels so cold

What can I do to be welcome again
What would it take to be considered a friend
All that I did, I knew I was just
For it was you who abandoned our trust

Trapped in my cell the light blinding my eyes
In all that I did I fought not to be despised
I tried to apologize but you turned away
So then how is it I who is dishing out Hate

I can leave if it would fulfill your desire
I came only to leave after a short while
My time here has ended and I must return
To the land of the hopeless the land of the shunned

Journey alone, my harmonica in my hand
Together with it I will flee from this land
Does this make you happy to drive me away
When once so long ago you wished me to stay [comments] => 5 [counter] => 212 [topic] => 32 [informant] => poet_of_anger [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

Very sad but briliantly written.
Hang tuff my friend as joy cometh in the morning.
We may not like change but there's one thing u can be sure change will come.
Life is sad many times but I find joys in the simple things in life.
luv, huggs, friends,
emy
