Dreaming leads to pain
Caring leads to pain
Life is nothing but pain

I have no lost love to cry over
I have no dead relative to mourn over
I have no one to miss
But still I am alone
I've always been alone

I have nothing in my life to cause emotion
And I have no one to inspire my emotion
I am sensory deprived
Boredom and loneliness consume me
Consume my every thought
I am done with caring
I am done with hoping
I am done with life

I live for nothing
Each day passes blurring into the next
Each day is one and the same
Tomorrow is only Emptiness

I have no lost love to cry over
I have no dead relative to mourn over
I have no one to miss
But still there is no one there
I will always be alone

I have nothing in my life to cause emotion
And I have no one to inspire my emotion
I am sensory deprived
Boredom and loneliness consume me
Consume my every thought
I am done with caring
I am done with hoping

such a sad piece that I wish I couldn't relate
to, but sadly I am all to familiar with. A really
good poem and the repetition really added to
the poem I though. I also thought this poem was honest which is deserving of my respect.
Keep up the writing.

Girish, you are wrong that I have only lived for myself. I am an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts and I am a current young adult leader in my troop. In my 15 years as a scout I have done many things for my community and for those in need. I have always been there to help any kid in my troop and for anyone who needed my help. I hold myself to very high moral standards and I hold everyone else to those same standards, but they always let me down. I care for all people of the world. But what can I do? Helping people does not change anything, its never changed anything, people have been helping other people since the beginning of time, but it has not done anything. There is more evil than good, and no one is willing to fight the root problems from which all these other problems stem from. I do not drink, I do not smoke, and I have never had any sexual relationships with anyone ever. I am against all sex, in any form, for any reason. Maybe not because of what it is for at the core, but because of what we as a species have made it out to be. Please do not attack my honor, when you know nothing about me, but from a poem. I'm sure you did not mean anything by it, but I just thought I would let you know. Have a nice day.
