Setting over west downtown,
I sit there smiling at the end of day
Watching young children trying to stay out and play
And nobody knows

When night is here and the sunset's done
And I walk wack home, see the children run
I giggle a little at the sight
Of watching them fight off saying good-night
And nobody knows

Back in my bedroom I turn on the light
Staying awake throughout the night
Counting the seconds left in the day
Counting the days until I fade away
And nobody knows

And as I count I think of life
Full of sorrow, grief, and strife
And I guess that's when I made my resolve
To keep secret the problem I cannot solve
And nobody knows

This is a problem I've had since birth
So I've always known what life's really worth
I guess that's what happens when no one knows why
When no one can tell me why I must die

We all try and figure why things, are like they are. Cant, really find the answer, tho. Good write.
