and drowns my soul,
the pain and hurt,
the sorrow and stroll.

This emptyness inside,
makes me remember yesterday,
like it was all just a joy ride,
waiting for me to be torn apart.

Fire consumes what once was I,
left only the ashes of my soul.
Staring with a sigh,
this firing is reaching ends high.

I will get up, I will move on,
but I will not forget what is gone,
the good and the bad,
all that had happened,
everything that left me sad.

All but memories now,
drifting on a cloud...
The reason for living,
is not giving up now! [comments] => 2 [counter] => 144 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Kellros [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

You have captured those moments of acceptance, rebirth, and forward movement gracefully in one solid piece. Nice.
