straight jacket wraps round me like a vine
histeric laughter

damned to this white padded hell

sick in the head
trapped by demons wake

florecent lights burn my eyes
locked doors, barred windows

all you can do is sit and dream
quietly die

fake happiness on the workers faces

Very well written poem, especially for never experiencing what you're speaking of. I've been "institutionalized" before, and you nailed many of the images and emotions. Great job!
