It just doesn't seem to stop
Everytime he drinks
He hurts us
And it doesn't change

I no more
Than a punching bag
To you
Father
Daddy
Don't you love me
You say
You do
But then you hit me
Please
Don't break
Another bone
As I lay here
Hiding
And crying
Protecting
My little brother
Your son
As we look up
And wonder
Why?

Why the abuse
I'll never be like you
I drink
But
Not like you
And
I wish
You could feel
The pain
You inflicted
On us
Daddy.

We scream
Why
And you don't hear us
You're immune
To the crying
To the screaming
Why
