Should I Always Listen To My Conscience?

Contributed by Dan666 on Tuesday, 2nd November 2004 @ 03:07:04 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

My conscience tells me this and that,
I sometimes stop so we can chat,
It tells me things, that i should listen,
Please tell me if I should listen,
I always do stop and think,
Usually decide in a blink,
It's always there I cant escape,
But I never see it, it goes without a trace,
Ok conscience, I am listening,
You are yelling, you are whistling,
Please stop it, I'm trying to sleep,
I know your for me, but this is cheap,
So tell me please, 'cos there's a knock
Should I listen, or should I block?

Oh My God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Daniel, I am absolutely amazed by this. You should definitely listen to your conscience, I think that's why we are getting on so well!
Please keep writing Daniel, you are so bloody good at it, even though I'm your mum and am very proud.
I truely loved this, well done.

Ali xx

This is far away the best poem you've written, and its flawless. You describe so well and I can almost feel your debate with your conscience. Excellent poem

Love Dawny x

Ps - You should always listen to your conscience, its the part that makes us all human!!!
