Cocksure and tempting fate,
you paint the devil on the wall
of your straw house,
bastion of ineptitude,
testament to glory if only in that
it’s survived the gentle eastward wind
of this green spring morning,
as evil incarnate blows through the wall
and snatches you up / proves you wrong,
crumbling your ---- house
to straw and mud in one fell swoop.

How morbid, to so distort what was meant to be a lighthearted kids' story! Good job anyway, wish I had the patience to write with your level of thoughtfulness. |
