We each have our own lives now drifted apart,
It hurts me when the memories pass my heart,
Makes me feel blue & sorry we are no longer close,
But my past friends in real life seem like ghosts.

I have made some great friends since joining the site,
Reading your wonderful poems makes me feel bright,
You lift my spirits when I am feeling really down,
You all do your best to pick me up of the ground.

My heart is always open to anyone who is in need,
As I don’t like to see any of you bleed,
I will do my very best to bring back your smile,
I don’t mind how long even if it takes awhile.

I miss you all when I’m not on is that really sad?
Am I pathetic to say you are the best friends I have had?
I am just speaking from my heart that’s what I do best,
A poem is the perfect way for my friends to be addressed.

The only true friends I have are on here,
You are all special & I hold you all so dear,
The people who have called me a friend,
Haven’t stayed with me until the end.

We each have our own lives now drifted apart,

And I'm in the same position, I think the people on here are the greatest people I know. And I don't care what people think of that.
I think on here friendships are so much more real than there are in reeall life...there is nothing in the way.
So...thankyou for being a great friend.

aww this is a beatiful write.. don't let that get you down.. we all can feel lonley sometimes .. but its better to have like 1 good friend than a ton of false friends who use you or who really aren't your friend.. take care

I feel sometimes like I live in a world of shadows..my friends are..you..ghosts..computer images. Real people all leave me, maybe I'm defective as a real person; but as a computer friend I can be re-booted..LOL. great write pixie.(((((hugs))))))

Awww, my heart just goes out to you. What a lovely poem you have written about making friends on the site.

Maybe it is because poets have depth and mood-- we all seem to bind to one another?
