With an outside of lies
A voice rotted by silence
And choked by sorrowful cries

A heart shrouded by darkness
Terrified of being in the light
Fearing the sighting of all faults
And denial of all rights

Cast away by what's social
Unsheltered and alone
Vulnerable to their abuse
Pain searing to the bone

They've all now forgotten
Their terrible mistake
But the demons still remember
The life they chose to take

With words full of hatred
Words bringing pain
Words blurring reality
Words cancering the brain

My helplessness reared anger
My shame birthed self-hate
There's no way to calm this fury
No way to change my fate

I will be a horrendous memory
Causing them to cringe
When they recall the rage that was
The freak who got revenge

Words are worse than weapons
So hold your tongues at yield
For, of all the things I'll do in life
I'll never truly be healed
