A hemorrhaging sky to drench me with wonder;

The confines of yesterday melt away
With the comfort of the falling rain,
And each droplet speaks volumes to me
Of the tears that we share;

I keep my eyes open this time
As I absorb your running words,
The leaves of these trees wither
Yet maintain a perpetual beauty;

You could drop me off the end of this world
And I wouldn’t think any less of you;

I taste the silence,
And I feel the moisture from your lips,
The warmth of your touch parting
Always taking my heart in your hands;

As the solitary flower dies within winter’s grasp,
I mourn for its life,
And know that I shall bleed once more.

Too much here for me to begin to comment. Your images are so powerful and moving. Your ending so sad and desperate.
