of her face
allow me to dare
reality to change.
A bright-eyed girl
makes imagination flirt
with the notion
of commotion
in my soul.
Dancing with the candlelight,
these images delight
and lure my lips into
a sound
that only the sweetness of the vine
has found
the key to its room.
An unnoticed stare
goes untouched
as the flutter of my heart
doesn't match
her divine countenance.

Medieval dreams
of candles and cheek-blush
dance in my head
as I stare
at the eyes of a stranger
whom I wish to know.
Gothic images
of a love divine
whisper at my swollen
imagination,
and an elegant woman
in the candlelight
becomes the object
of my obsession,
as reality slips
into a drunken stupor
and my heart dares
to imagine and dream
of things that could not be
- unless my fate
has it written for me
that reality ends
and I spend my life
living a moment's weakness.

Charon,
I cannot die tonight,
for love has not yet been kind
to my heart.
I've tasted and conquered
love,
but lust I have yet to fight.
I've fought the demons of the world,
but how can I refuse
the lips of an angel?
Pain is all I wish tonight,
so my lust may take flight
and land on the shoulders
of a most unlucky rock,
for rocks don't have hearts
that can be broken. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 272 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Corruptor [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

I like the candles burning and the exotic feelings in this.

It's very sexy and seductive.
