[hometext] => This poem was written seeing someone you love, loving someone else. Enjoy
[bodytext] => Agony, anguish, I will lend you those. Rid me of my torturous imagination. Extra sensory perception I could have sworn I saw her in my dream; Caressing your body, embracing your heart… I should have been her. Blank, vacant, My heart left in despair. Could you see my emotions Ooze through my chest? My lips turn a pale shade of blue As I saw my nightmare lay On the sheets I once made my cocoon… I could have been her. Perplexed, bewildered, Could you help me comprehend? Why did you choose to gamble my soul? Sure you might be lucky , But when it came to my love You went all in and lost it all. God if only you won that hand. She wouldn’t exist… I would have been her.
