[bodytext] => I Find it Hard to Feel And so you said, lets get to my car I'll take you out on the town tonight And you know how I trust you I'm so cold So please don't me down or let me go or let the darkness get to me I'm so cold You don't really know, you don't really know Because if you had this heart You'd find it hard to be kind, too I find it hard to feel 'Cause it's always give a little bit more heart, give a little more soul, give a little more love It's like money, nothing is too much I find it hard to feel I just want to laugh a lot I just want to go the Beastie Boys concert But as we travel in your car and I watch this city in the night Driving across the bridge, bathed in the pink neon light, with the Harbour, silent beneath me I'm at peace and I let your hand caress me The radio is playing songs about breaking up I'm listening for a song that sums me up I'm in a place where just about anything means something to me I live like a junkie I scream into a disconnected phone I'm addicted to my past I'm so cold And if you had this heart you'd find it hard to be kind, too I'm so cold I hate it when people don't get my double meanings I find it hard to feel I like your face When did everything become so complicated? Why did I let you go? Does this feel like pain? Will the Ocean one day wash us all away? Will there ever be another John Lennon? 'Cause we need to look now Soon enough we reach the cliff As the waves crash against the rock And like young children we wander down to the shoreline You look so pretty in the night And it's like the water is warmed by the starlight And I take you in my arms I'm kissing more than everything I'm kissing all the places inside I'm almost on my knees And I'm saying, I might not be able to answer anything I might not be able to beat the lie dectector But I've got a heart, and I'm not afraid, The damage was all done a long time ago, and people can still move on I know this all might turn out to be nothing I know this is just a little fling right now I know I find it hard to feel, But in your car and in your arms, I feel like nothing can hurt me, anymore.
