As her eyes look into mine with unassailable zeal
Her little heart radiates as always with such felicity
She's my angel, my shining star, my little sweetie

She may not transcend the beauty of a blooming flower
But her exquisite heart exceeds the flower's exterior
And she may ressemble a wilted dandelion
But if you look real close, you'll see the beauty within

We meet each Friday and it's always the same
She bounces on me with her black and white frame
She gives me her paw and expects some hugs
And so I settle my face inside her fur,so soft,so snug

We've fed our friendship with trust and love
An unbreakble bond thrust high above
I fear the day when I won't be seeing her again
But I'll be happy for the joy in her heart which I helped to obtain

Just delightful! Animals are so loving, giving, trusting. They look at us the way we should look at God. Lovely.
