More often than not
It's just another front
So intensely fake
It's almost painful
But you'd never know the difference
Cause you've never really taken the time
To get to know me
To understand me
You say I'm always happy
But don't judge a person
Until you've walked a mile
In their shoes
I laugh, but I still hurt [comments] => 6 [counter] => 197 [topic] => 43 [informant] => ALineAboveTheStepBeneath [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

Sadly I tend to do the same thing. The more pain I feel the happier I portray myself to be. =/ You need to try to stop hiding, from other people and yourself. Its the only way. Good luck.

Good write.

I don't pretend though.

I just ignore everyone
and their bleachy smiles.

I really liked this, and its something soo many can relate too, kinda sad, but soo true...if only we could all just be happy with areselves, and not have the burden of worrying what others thought, or might think if they find out the truth, but I guess sometimes you get soo tired of pretending and then everythings a mess ....ehh sorry for the ramblings nice write, cant wait to read more of your work....
