with umbrellas and soaking wet feet
So unaware of what is going on in and around their own lives
So unaffected and so deprived

These people in their daily throes
('tho unaware) are perplexed by what comes and goes
Breathing in mortality
Breathing out duality

These people are nothing like me
Unconcerned about things they can't see
Depthless ghosts of life itself
Beautiless confessions left to rot on the shelf

These people are mystified, unglued
with their umbrellas and soaking wet shoes
So apathetic and indifferent to the world overflowing
So willing to remain unknowing

And these people are just the same as me
Blowing around uncontrollably
with their empty stares
with their lack of knowledge of world affairs
I am them, they are me

Once again you've got some awesome lines in there; some truly great imagery.

"Depthless ghosts" & "Beautiless confessions" are both really powerful couplings.

I also really liked the repetition with the "umbrellas and soaking wet shoes".

Good job.

that was amazing. your choice of words is perfect.

"so willing to remain unknowing"
loved that, wish i'd have thought of it.

with their empty stares,
with their lack of knowledge of world affairs"
loved that too!

you really do have a gift, to use simple words to such effect! x
