What is highschool romance?
Why's it something we all seek?

Are we curious?
Are we lustful?
Do we think that we're too weak?

Whats the point of a relationship
When you know its going to end?

Is it for popularity?
Do we think we'll get more friends?

Why do we want to date her so bad?
What's so special about him?

"Well their cars, their looks, their money,
where else should we begin?"

I know its wrong,
I know its vane,
I know its foolish too.

But I want a highschool relationship,
Like all highschoolers do.

I want to hold her hand,
And I want to make her smile.

I want to be her only one
even if it's only for a while.

I want to hear her secrets,
I want lost in her eyes.

I want to hold her in my arms,
when she's glad and when she cries.

I want a highschool relationship
Through the good times and the tough.

I want a highschool relationship but mostly,
I want to be in love.

Highschool romance.

What is highschool romance?
Why's it something we all seek?

Are we curious?
