I found out,
From a friend,
You were lying.
You did not deny.
I ask you now,
“Why?”
You answer,
“To be a good role model.”
“So you wouldn’t think it was alright.”
I say,
“Ow.”
You answer
“Sorry. I am really really sorry.”
I say,
“But…you lied…why?!…you promised…ow…”
You reply,
“I’m sorry. Please forgive me.”
I almost cry.
The pain…
All I can think is,
“Ow. Ow. Ow.”
All you can say is,
“Sorry.”
Well I am sorry you had,
To lie about cutting.

I whispered a question.
You answered no.
I asked later.
You answered no.
I found out,
From a friend,
You were lying.
You did not deny.
I ask you now,
“Why?”
You answer,
“To be a good role model.”
“So you wouldn’t think it was alright.”
I say,
“Ow.”
You answer
“Sorry. I am really really sorry.”
I say,
“But…you lied…why?!…you promised…ow…”
You reply,
“I’m sorry. Please forgive me.”
I almost cry.
The pain…
All I can think is,
“Ow. Ow. Ow.”
All you can say is,
“Sorry.”
Well I am sorry you had,
To lie about cutting.

I think it was wrong to lie but your friend was doing it for the right reasons cuz he/she cares for you..great write

Sad write. It's hard to trust again after that trust has been broken.
