why do I do this self-harm
I begin to question why I want to die
and sometimes why I want to cry
is it because I hate myself and cannot deal
or because I cut and cannot heal
maybe its my friends
and their thinking of the end
so tired of looking in the mirror
and what I see
so tired of hating me
does this mean I am getting better
no more suicide letters
does this mean I am taking the love I recieve
does this mean I cannot leave
or things are looking up
so that I cannot cut
it feels so strange
and in my brain...so out of range
the blades taring up my skin
the comments sinking within
will this finish with a happy ending
or a wrist that needs mending
I do feel the addiction of the blade
and the pain it has made [comments] => 6 [counter] => 249 [topic] => 36 [informant] => screwup [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 19 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

The poetry is great, the self harm is awful. I just joined another poetry group along with this one..it's in yahoo too, it's from dawn to dusk..you might like it there. PM me if you want the link..it's for people who are be-polar or have other problems like depression. I really like it.

Hey...
This is a good strong write... I think u are finally realizing what all this is doing to u... and those around u... that's good!!! U're sarting to question urself and look for answers... other than turning to the knife...
It can end with a happy ending... but it's all up to u... and what u want to do...
Love always...
~Donna~
