Topic: SadPoetry

time is my memories
of everyday that i have walked
upon this earth
with all my tragedies
and my happiness
the fun i've had
with all my friends
the love i dream to feel
with all i lack
to have done
but i've done more
than most ever dream
but yet my heart seems crushed
away and gone
i've resorted to all the things
that a man should never do
just to feel happy
but yet my true happiness
has yet to come
and my heart still lies crushed
on the sands of beaches
forever gone
and so the man
that i once was
shall never be
for he is gone
with all his purity
