Without a face or name,
Its all our fault,
That you dont breath anymore,
Its just a consequence of conscience,
A mass of mixed up nonsense,
And a flash of red comes between us,
You garnish us with false niceties,
Blaming the very media you spawned,
But at the end of the day,
We are all to blame,
We are all guilty until proven innocent.

We are the video game fed,
Mass murdering,
Charles Manson copycat generation,
We have no great war or purpose,
Our lives are built on a scaffolding of frustration,
Our broken bread is never shared,
Just like our screams are never heard,
We didnt want this life,
So we just throw it away [comments] => 4 [counter] => 185 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Ripper_Something_Unusual [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

very powerful the title was quite creepy I
thought the image of little children playing
with trucks or dolls and replaced with razors
sends chills down my spine. I loved this
poem and sadly it's true. The last three lines
were amazing.

My two cents say this part rocks -
"Its just a consequence of conscience,
A mass of mixed up nonsense"
and this...
"Our lives are built on a scaffolding of frustration" is very, very good, loved it.

:)
