The warmth of your smile
on me has the same affect
as the sun's soft rays
encouraging the May flower
to unfold its delicate petals

When you reach up
to adjust my tie,
I am content in
the knowledge that
you regard me as
your very own

The softness of your lips

to face the day,

Aw shucks, stoney1 - you got me too! My mind was turning, turning on the thought of how much can be embedded in the smallest of moments... and then, whammo! you toss the milkman in. *sigh*

i love the last line, it made me chuckle. i love the structure as well. a great poem.
