Any sight of light, devored.
Fumes of sulfur is all you can smell,
The fallen angel rest in the depths of hell.

Now in a place where blood boils,
Everlasting pain and sorrows,
This is where there is no tomorrow,
Just the darkness in all the shadows.

All you will see is angony and misery,
Burning crypts is what there will be,
This is punishment for all the sins,
Once again the fallen angel grins.

And once the darkness consumes you,
You will know what it feels like to be doomed,
Forever entombed,
Never shall you awake any time soon. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 158 [topic] => 13 [informant] => AdamChantell [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 39 [ratings] => 9 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

I'm not the one to comment, but I just kind of fell in here..I never do understand image..I just kind of assume you're talking about someone getting started on a wrong path and being consumed by desire or drugs or whatever it is that so overwhelms them..is that close? I'm no good at this..but the poem conjured up vivid pictures in my mind..that's always good..maybe the next soul will be the brilliant sort..Arden or someone like that..hopefully. :-*)

Awesome write, very vivid images, graphic and clear, darkness complete and horror devoured, a gruesome end for a tormented soul, a nightmare to be chersished, desires raped by the angel of tortured death, is basically the image I got, though each will see ti differently no doubt, cool poem, loved it from beginning to end, thanks for sharing this excellent poem.

Another brilliant write, I really love this one. I could just picture it perfectly, and the smooth and gentle flow is great.

Take Care
