Gasping for air
Clenching my chest
I want my innocence back
I want to pick up the slack
Look in my eyes
You won't see what you're used to
See what's inside
It just might scare you
With a stroke of the pen
More time wastes away
The clock is ticking
Turn on the light
Keep the switch clicking
Feel your eyes twitching
It makes no sense
The melody is bleeding
The structure is colapsing
Get out of the way
You're holding me back
I wish the future was now
Because the past is so far
