I couldn’t do it to those that love and care about me so now I sit here more DEAD than ever! [bodytext] => I was pushed up with it all this morning,
And convinced I would kill my-self.
No more trying,
No more crying.
No more cursing mental health!

I was so sure inside my head,
Of what I was going to do.
Run away after school,
And jump from a high roof.

But as seconds melted with another,
The hours began to flow,
And time pushed on quicker,
Leaving me after school alone.

Through out school today,
They kept on drumming it into my head!
Did they know what I was thinking?
About me, wanting to be dead?

… I went into town after school,
But their words stuck in clear.
I sat down on an empty bench,
And couldn’t hold back the tears…

I promised Jason I wouldn’t go back on the roof,
And so many others care.
I couldn’t do it, there’s the cowardly truth!
The echoes inside made me just too scared…!

Death is such a sad thing to wish apon yourself... but we all do it! I've often felt that way! I like how your poem conveys your emotions bluntly.

Sometimes, being dead inside can make you see how great of a life you actually have. I've been there, too, seeing I had nothing to live for but no desire to die. This sounds like a Bradford Center commercial, but there IS hope.

Ya know,

Sometimes you youngsters scare the BeJesus out of me!

I'm not sure whether this is just poetry, or whether some of
you are actually comtemplating suicide.

Your teen years are supposed to be some of the best years
in your life, prior to assuming the burdens of adult-hood.

If you're already considering suicide; how in hell are you
ever going to handle the crap that is inevitably coming down
the tube at you.

You can go to the shrinks and more power to you if you
have the sense to do so. But, in the final analysis, whether
you end up offing yourself is going to be up to you, alone.

Because that's when it happens...about 4:00 a.m. when you're
all alone and think that you simply can't take the pain anymore.

There will be no professional there to help talk you down.

Let me tell you...I've been there so I want you to listen to what
I'm saying. When you think that your life has finally reached its
cataclismic end and your only option is that ultimate step into
the abyss; think of this phrase,

"This too, shall pass."

For me, it took months. That was over 25 years ago as I lay
weeping in a cell in Halifax. I was 29 years old and my wife
had left me for another man. I didn't handle it well to say the
least. But I survived.

Just remember, life may sometimes hurt, but you're going
to be dead a long time, so why not wait until your natural end
to come of its own accord.

Regards,

Stoney

p.s.

I'm sharing some real personal ***** here, but I've had acquaintances
who have killed themselves and I often think, if I had only known, maybe
I could have made a difference.

In any event, the pain you feel over the course of your life, you
can tap into when you write your poetry. There's nothing like
life experience to draw from when you're writing poetry.*s*

Hi hon,

Life seems to be a drag? Sorry to hear that. Like Stoney said, you're a kid. You should be out doing stupid stuff... It's Halloween... Go tic-tacin, teepee a few trees (teachers or neighbors...) Dumb stuff (not vicious...lol) Be a kid. Don't assume the weight of the world at your age... We need you to do that later when we're to old to do it. It called the "cycle of life". Get on and ride. Someday you'll look back and smile. I promise.

J~

Yu have yur whole future ahead of yuo and you certainly do have friends all around yuo and all across the country and across the sea. we would all love to see you prosper and grow within yourself and in the future be able to lift up your head and say i did the right thing by sticking around and to show all that you were strong enough within yourself to be someone truely special
