[hometext] => I wrote this poem about having to live my life in search of other people's goals....my parents, my teachers, my friends....and how sometimes you can't escape.
[bodytext] => Not your average fairy tale
But just an average life Depression will prevail Ever persistant and rife Someone else always in my head Maneuvering a constant charade Through their hopes I'm led Stepping through the masquerade I'm told to shoot for the stars No goal ever too high, But when the goals aren't even ours Then it's just a suffocating sky That will one day fall into reality Disrupting our well earned serenity Increasing life's fatality Because of a disapearing identity Now down life's path I'm lurching From your wisdom here's the affect: Aimlessly I'm searching For the edge of a circle that's perfect.
