[bodytext] => I admit I am afraid, Of mistakes I’ve already made, I admit that I’m also scared, That you won’t always be there. I am frightened as soon as you leave, My body feels sad & ready to grieve, I feel sick & alone without you by my side, So into a bottle of vodka I go to hide. I have spent my life in fear, That I’ll end up alone with no-one near, It still destroys me although I try so hard, To put it once & for all in my back yard. My soul reeks of fear & insecurity, Stops me from functioning normally, I long to trust but I don’t know how, I wish I had the strength here & now. Fear makes me feel so sick & weak, I search for answers but it’s looking bleak, I feel like throwing in the towel, Fear’s laying it on thick with its trowel. Will I ever be allowed to let go? Get rid of this feeling that hurts me so, All I want to be is normal like the rest, But fear keeps me from feeling my best.
