So what if I'm addicted!
Why do you care?
You weren't there when I was being beat, you aren't the one who was knocked off your feet.
You didn't have bruises to hide.
You aren't the one whos pride was beat out.
You aren't the one who couldn't scream out.
So what if I'm addicted it's me.
I'm a self-harmer and my knife sets me free.

I dont like what this is about, cutting isnt right
you should be trying to stop
it's not 'cool'
One day you'll accidently slip the blade some where you werent bargaining to
I deal with a lot of people who cut
Most of them do it because its cool
Id like to analyze you some time
if you have the time

firstly i would like to say that your other comment about self-harming being 'cool' and wrong is not fair.
but i posted a comment to say how upsetting this poem it was, for it is so well written, so short yet so much impact, i really like your writing i really like your last line it seems such a perfect way to end the poem
'i'm a slef-harmer and my knife sets me free." wow

good job, i love this poem im a cutter and this is just perfect.

as for the other comment about cutting being wrong. "i'd like to analyze you"
wtf? cutters are not some machine to be analyzed. don't you think we're sick of people who try to understand when there is no way in hell they'll ever understand! go analyze yourself. that is probably the stupidest comment i've ever read.
great poem, keep up. you're one of my favorite writers.
