MY TIRED EYES
By: LadyJeannoh
10/5/2004

As the years pass my eyes
faster than I have known
I become more confused
persons I have encountered on this journey
have become harder and deeper to know
some will care for awhile others step aside
learned ways from our heritage
has become lost in everyday turmoils
is this life, is it real, am I here?
United dreams shared as one before
has been split into pieces of indecision
nobody thinks together anymore
I want to wake myself from this horror
don't like these nightmares in my dreams
hang on to what is simple and free flowing
can you see all the truth n my dreams
open your eyes and and wipe the fog o the glass
to happier times once shared now gone
yes your right in your hiding your face
no you wouldn't except your to blame
just doing what all others do try so hard to fit in
Have I been left behind with my stubbornness
must I suffer within my soul with no understanding
such a torture to ones self do you agree
yes as time passes by my tired eyes
faster than ever before
I'm left with my own thoughts of before....
