Cuts with purpose
Tending to my
Despair
When chasms vent
Deepest pains
Shadows flood
My world
And darkness is everywhere
Blood flows like
Quicksand sucks you in
And you’re lost forever
With no end

Soulless bled dry
Feeling so low
Don’t even need a knife
The cuts just appear
My pain taking form
Bleeding from inside
Self afflicted bruises
Dying from the inside
Feeling less than useless
Wanting just to die
Try to hang my self
With anything
An extension cord
Stereo cable used
To suffocate self
Not really strangulation
But death by patience

Addicted to depression
Cuts and reinvention
Burns a new obsession
A feeling of confection
When carving up my arm
Slice away rite to the bone
Trying just to finely hone
The ways to end life
The ways to kill my self

Drip drip drip
Droplets from an ink pen
Fall to paper just like blood
Trickles down from my arm
With the stains of creation
That my poetry is

such deep and sad emotions
difficult feelings put to paper
good write
still so very sad to be brought
to such a desperate time in ones
Life. May God watch over you
at times of destress...
Bless you

Jeannoh
