[title] => The Night You Held Me
[time] => 2002-11-16 07:00:00
[hometext] => I wrote this poem a little while after I broke up with my boyfriend. I was literally crushed by the memories still replaying inside my head.
[bodytext] => I miss the night you held me
Just so I wouldn't be cold The memory shall be forever enfold It's for the best I know you'll agree Although I don't want the dust to be- What extinguishes your flare My memories of despaire Will one day burn in your flames so free Then hopefully you'll see That I was true in what I did All temptation forbid All I needed was you and me Deep down forever I'll disagree That I shadowed myself from your eyes I wasn't a part of any of those lies And soon you shadowed yourself from my plea And in my darkness the light that i'd see Would be neon lights intoxicating the sky It just makes me want to cry... That night, you let go of me There's one thing to which I'll never agree That even for a second I let you go Through my walls our memories show Even if I'm the only one who will ever see And that's all the eyes there ever needs to be They'll burn through our song "This is MY LETTER", I'll try to be strong But without you, it really has "been rough for me" After all the destruction I'm left with all the debris What you meant will one day unfold But I'm so thankful, that I was so cold...
