The world has brought him down to his knees. He tried to press on, but every time he did, he was hit harder than the time before. And this time, it was too much for him to take. He’s weeping on the floor crying out for help.
“Help me. Help me!” he screams. But no one can hear his cries. And no one ever will.
He tries to turn to anyone and everyone for guidance. Yearning for those wanting arms to hold him and tell him that everything will be ok. Everything will be just fine. He has almost given up. He’ll do anything he can to feel again. Anything he can to feel alive. To feel real and tangible. People see through him as if he is transparent like some ghost. All he wants is their attention but does nothing to obtain it.
To feel alive, he cuts himself. On his legs, his arms, his hands. Where ever he can get relief. Pain can feel so good.
“This is all your fault”! he yells. “All your ***** fault”! He yells this as if someone will come to his aid. But no one can hear his cries. And no one ever will.
He opens his diary and writes: I died again today. Then he looks through his diary and notices that the same thing is written in every entry before this one. Dated back to his first memory. His first gasp of breath. Soon this entry will end his life.
He gets up and looks in the mirror. Then I realize. It’s me. Staring back at myself. It’s me on my knees. It’s me who is lost. It’s me with the knife. It’s me crying out. But no one can hear my cries. And no one ever will.

The ending just clutched my heart. This seems so personal and packed with hidden emotion that I am at a loss for a comment on this one.
Very moving.
