The sky grows dark
A grayish blur of life
Moving slowly above
Allowing the world
To spin around you.
A light, cold rain
Invigorates your soul
Reminding you that
You’re still alive.
The wind picks up
Sending a spiral of leaves
Sailing past your curious eyes.
Thunder booms in the distance
Startling those unaware.
Lightening strikes nearby
Sending a spark of light
Through the moist air…
What depresses one,

What depresses one
Rejuvenates another…
The sky grows dark
A grayish blur of life
Moving slowly above
Allowing the world
To spin around you.
A light, cold rain
Invigorates your soul
Reminding you that
You’re still alive.

Hmm I think your poem title does not fit your poem. Your content does not exactly fit. This is a good write any way.
