Caring about anything has gone to shame
Myself, who am I now?
Who shall I become?
I’ve given up
I will no longer watch and learn
I want nothing
Just the happiness that will never swim my way
I will continue to grow weaker
Watching myself sink lower and lower
In my pool of misery
I shall stand on the bottom
Below the surface
No one will see me
I’m far to deep
In my pool of misery
Yet one day I will start to rise
To float up again
Just to sink once more… [comments] => 10 [counter] => 209 [topic] => 65 [informant] => pyrofungus [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 14 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => toughstuff )

A very depressing poem with a lot of truth in it. Well done for writing this poem...it made me realise that I should appreciate what I have now because soon things will start to get worse, and at least when all this bad stuff happens, I can take satisfaction in knowin I was grateful for what I had and used my time well. Sorry for going on
Cat x

You can take what has happened to you to make you feel this way and let it eat you up. or you can say that it wont let you down and make yourself stronger and defeat this.. you have a talent of writing your feelings down so keep it going. One moment in life that we live out out discuss because of what happened to us is a time we waisted instead of smiling and singing it away. try it.

Fine write!
The ending was very sad, but I hope there is light at the end of the tunnel.

hey bro! This is sooo true. Happines.... this is that we all want. We realize that we had it when we've losted it. I spent lots of my time trying to escape to the times when I was a child and everything seems to be so much fun. But unfortunelly I can't find a way to do that. When you start to distinguish what's real and what is only a dream, life becoming so much harder. From the day when I realized that, I'm slowly fading day by day. Great job.

We all have them days
Everything good has gone away
Then we come back
As a matter of fact
Life is good again
We cast away our pain
People with all their falts
Something is there we are taught
In self pitty we no longer burn
Lesson learned
Together
We are here to help each other
Come up and stay
Someone needs you today
I liked your poem
At times we do feel alone

Sinned
