comes a desperation

a longing for your touch

but with time apart

the love in my heart

grows by a great much

I know the distance

and I have resistance

but you are an honorable man

the love we share

will always be there

but now you must do what you can

a country is calling

you help it from falling

protect and serve

and now that I see

how brave you can be

and you steel coated nerves

I am grateful to say

each and every day

that I am an Airman's girl. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 206 [topic] => 55 [informant] => Rxqueen [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )
