Yep, my brothers are like that. They get into trouble, and all I can do is watch them get hurt. It sucks. Your poem really shows what a person goes through in that kind of situation. You did good. ;) ~hugs~

alienated from
being helpful,
then feeling alone.

Yes, I indeed do understand how it feel when you see your friend begin to do something which can only hurt them. It's a sad feeling. Like this a lot. Very deep in meaning
