And I can't wait to laugh and turn you away
So you may continue living your sad and pathetic life
May you continue your lying and cheating ways

I thought my life was over
I thought that it couldn't be done
But I've begun to smile again
And laugh and have fun
Days have come and days have gone
So have the pain and tears
I can finally say I'm over you

I'm glad for you Candice,
I can feel in this poem lots of painful bottled-up memories being finally released, at last!
I'm just not sure that these people ever regret anything they've done really!

Dean, I doubt that they ever truly regret what they do. But all that is really important is that I am finally over it all. At least for the most part, I do still have some issues to resolve about the things that has happened in my life, but the important thing is that I am working on it. And that is all that really matters.
