let them wrap the chains tighter
fall into their optimistic lies
the truth hurts, shut your eyes
let the pills rot your brain away
keep believing everything they say

big fake smiles plastered on your face
its a shame that you can't see
this whole **** world is a conspiracy
so go ahead and fall into the role

really good poem... I can understand what you are going thru here I've been on antidepressents for about 2 years... great poem about the way they really don't help you, just make you feel fake.

this one hits close to home, too...
parallel lives, maybe?
i love this piece - so well-worded...
and definitely closest to the truth...

I was on prozac for awhile..it did make me not exactly happy..but I didn't give a ***** about any of the problems I had..which before that were killing me. It was better for me than self-destruct. It made me a nympho too which my husband liked quite a lot.. I wish I could have dealt with my problems head on..no drugs; but I couldn't... great write though.
