He gives me joy in the midst of sorrow builds my hope
for a bright tomorrow comforts me through all the pain,
gave me the strength and ability to live again.

I am truly grateful for the second chance that I have been
given this is his way of showing me he there is a purpose
for me living, this precious gift I will never take for granted.

It has been given to us all for one reason to honor and praise
our heavenly father in every season.

He gives me joy in the midst of sorrow builds my hope
for a bright tomorrow comforts me through all the pain,
gave me the strength and ability to live again.

I am truly grateful for the second chance that I have been
given this is his way of showing me he there is a purpose
