the
brutal honesty
of
these phrases-
So many times
i gag
on the words-
As i pick at
the scarred remains
of this
charred and broken heart.

Last night was
heaven-
and today i woke
up in hell-
went to sleep
in the comfort
of your arms-
woke up gasping
for air
in your absense.

the most favorable pain
is that of
the exhausted-
the lonely, unloved
no bodies of society-
who went searching
for shooting stars-
and lost all
in the process.

hear me out
for once-
stop talking
over me-
looking through me-
tearing me open
to expose all my flaws.

this vulnerability
is just a kink-
in the design
the perfect mold-
broke and super
glued back together-
in hopes
that no one notices
the cracks.

i must have
forgotten
how much i hate-
this world-
this uncontrollable feeling
this undesirable torture tactic-
of a broke soul.

the magic
word-
to break this spell-
this back luck
is-
love.

im tired of being alone. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 174 [topic] => 21 [informant] => xSlashXPrettyXSkinx [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

It is as if you spat your heart out onto the page here.... and it is incredible because of that.

Lonely.... is so very inspirational but so damn hard. *sigh* yeh.

Crazy well done, Lindsey!
