Letting go is never easy but sometimes it's needed in order to move on. [bodytext] => The night is still, breathless, void and empty,
Thoughts of you drift to and fro, softly and dreamlike.
I am moved by them and yet for once calm at the same time,
As though my soul has finally found the peace it’s sought for so long.
An understanding settles in, hope dies and life begins again,
I reach out to you one last time praying you understand,
Love hasn’t died, but in order to live I must leave.
You are my dream but now I must awaken.
Reality crashes in and I am empty.
Lost and alone, searching,
Consuming pain fills me,
I weep alone,
For you.

Your right letting go is never
easy, and it is what's needed to
move on, one of the things that
has kept me moving on like i have
was actually a post that you made
in the forums, i cant even describe
what it did to me but the way you
worded it was so deep and
meaningful, it just hit me really hard
like a big slap of reality! Thanks for
sharing this one i really enjoyed it
and thanks for being part of my
inspiration!

I think its so cute how the poem makes the shape of a heart *I hope that's what you were going for and I'm not just writing this up here for no reason* and your right, letting go IS never easy..

You're right... The words convey a letting go of the one you love whereas the poem itself is shaped like a heart showing that love never truly dies.... Actually it was very observant of you to notice.

Thank-you for your comment.

Instead of saying how much I see it in your light,I'll simply say these words: Such beautiful verses... So beautiful.
