Chubby Girl

Contributed by subgenius on Wednesday, 13th October 2004 @ 11:02:45 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Chubby girl was not the wounded deer hunted by the wolf
Her family was wrong when they said she was under Cool Guy's control
Rather she was the apprentice and Cool Guy was her mentor

He became her family
Her family became her enemies
Her conscience became her worst enemy of all

Chubby girl secretly loved Cool Guy
Or was it his approval?
Either way, no one could ever love her in that unsightly body

The magazine became her Bible
The make-up became her Communion
Her self-loathing became her Crucifixion

Chubby Girl cried because Cool Guy called her "Porky"
Doctor lied to her when he told her she was sick
She wasn't killing her body for she was truly too heavy for his affection

The mirror became her jury
The bathroom sink became her dungeon
Her fingers became her executioner

Chubby Girl died silently and slowly
Her hair was falling out and her teeth were rotting
She was 90lbs of skin and bone and chubbier than ever

Her wheel chair became her thrown
The paramedic became her knight in shining armor
The coffin became her kingdom
...and Cool Guy was her King.
