Roll of thunder

Except for the occasional
Roll of thunder
Outside my bedroom window
That leaves me wishing
I was safe
Wrapped up in your arms

Brings back to mind the thunderstorms I recall from three years spent in southern Wyoming. The lightning was intense. This is a very well written note of longing. Well done !!

In my opinion,there's nothing better than a thunderstorm,but even better with someone you care about there with you during, I agree.Very well written !
