Array ( [sid] => 67233 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Fathers Have Rights Too [time] => 2004-10-13 11:11:03 [hometext] => this is for Mark & all the other Dad's who can't see their children.... he is going to try for access soon [bodytext] => Fathers have some rights too,
It’s not fair what they have to go through,
Just to be able to see their own kids,
With the words of I love you bid.

But in our cruel, cruel world,
Among thousands Mark can’t see his little girl,
As his ex has cut him from her life,
This has caused him endless grief & strife.

So many men are really missing out,
It breaks all their hearts I have no doubt,
I have seen Mark’s heart totally break,
I don’t know how more he can take.

His daughter’s picture is all he has left,
Everything else from under him has been swept,
He saw her once walking down the street,
He ran over & picked her off her feet.

It pains him to speak her name,
Why does his ex play this cruel game?
I have watched him as he’s cried,
Feeling like a part of his has died.

So many others live through this,
The law in England really takes the *****,
Decent men have to fight to show their love,
What they get in return is to be pushed & shoved.

It makes me sick the way they are treated,
Too scared to fight as they feel already defeated,
They have no hope left of ever seeing their child,
So they give up thinking the efforts not worthwhile.

Memories are painful, it hurts to think,
To remember the past leaves them on tears brink,
So it’s better to push all feeling out of the door,
Because to delve into thought makes them too sore.

Well I cant say I understand what mark is going through but I can have an idea as I do not see my father. Though this was not my mum's choice it was mine. Mark should fight for his love and with you beside him he will be able to carry on.
*Hugs you and sends a hug for mark*
Love
