The way you are for me.
I'm sorry that our friendship,
Isn't all that it should be.
I'm sorry I didn't realise,
How far we've grown apart.
I'm sorry for all the times,
I didn't have a heart.
I'm sorry that I'm not the friend,
You thought I was before.
I'm sorry when you needed me,
I didn't run to your door.
I'm sorry that I thought,
Friendships never die.
I'm sorry but if this one does,
All I could do is cry.
I'm sorry for being a b****,
When you needed me there.
I'm sorry for not telling you,
Just how much I care.
I'm sorry that your stuck,
Being my best friend.
I'm sorry, and if you want it to,
Our friendship can just end.
I'm sorry if I was the one,
Who started all the fights.
I'm sorry that instead of talking to you,
I sit here, sulk and write. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 194 [topic] => 16 [informant] => Roshie [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => FriendshipPoetry )

This is beautiful. There was a time in my life when I wasn't there for my bestfriend, but when I finally confided in her about the reason I wasn't there she forgave me, and then helped me through the situation that had been the cause of the rift in our friendship. I am still friends with her and our relationship has never been better. Maybe your friend will be as understanding as mine was, I hope so. Great poem.
