[hometext] => FOR MY GIRLFRIEND, MEGAN, WHO KEEPS ME GROUNDED...
[bodytext] => As i shield my eyes from the glaring sun, my vision is cut by this roller-coaster called Life. Stepping back, holding out; this crazy thing is too intimidating, unrelentless in its pursuit of happiness and joy. Careening much too close to the edge for my taste, the wild beast is almost out of view when my eyes fall upon you. Such a glorious image, even better under the friday night lights. Instantly i feel lifted by the butterflies that now possess me, but soothing the tension is your radiant smile and beautiful personality. The rhythm of your body rocks me like an epiphony, and i reach out at the last second before the coaster roars by. Landing next to you, I realize sometimes you have to throw it all out and hop on for the ride; Life, for the moment, isn't so bad. -The Raven- [comments] => 1 [counter] => 152 [topic] => 55 [informant] => theraven [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )
